Dear EMERGE Colleagues,
I am writing this email to highlight the current situation in India with regards to the pandemic. As you may have all heard that the situation is dire and close to a million new cases per day. The healthcare infrastructure is under significant strain and many of us want to help in any way we can.
Two of my colleagues Dr. Raghavendran Krishnan and Dr. Vikas Gulani are leading/collaborating with organizations that are delivering evidence-supported therapies and helping with oxygen supplies. The names of the organizations are
Healthcare4TheWorld – www.health4theworld.org
I know many individuals, institutions and countries are helping out and some of us are looking for avenues to assist. The above are two of such organizations.
At the EC meeting tomorrow, we should think/discuss other ways we can help as a global network.
Regards
Prashant
